VME :
-----
The H8 VME crate is now at Rutherford. 
It has the CORBO, VME display unit and RAID with hard-disk.
The TDC is at CERN ( in Shauns hands ).
 
NIM :
-----
It makes no sense to move the NIM modules to KEK. No 
special modules are needed in NIM. 
 
Exabyte :
---------
The exabyte used at CERN was on loan from Delphi and is not 
available. We borrowed an exabyte last year at KEK so I'm 
sure this can be done again.
 
Questions :
------------
The CERN system is at RAL because John will need a few months to prepare
the new local DAQ for the H8 data-taking in April/May. If we move this
system from the UK we risk not having a system operational for next
summer.
 
To Sandra : Why don't we move the LBL RAID + CORBO to KEK for February ??
            [ The most logical solution is to move these modules to KEK 
              and have the other system available in the UK if software 
              is needed. ] 
To Roberto : Can you find a VME crate ( with J-Aux ) at CERN to ship to 
             KEK  ?? [ we have 2 other crates in H8 ]
             Can you talk to Shaun, find the TDC and make sure
                 it gets to KEK on time ??        
 
 
Backup :
--------
If you insist on using the CERN RAID ( with a good explanation please ) 
inform John Hill ( see mail address above ) before Thursday this week.
The system will then be sent from RAL early January to the destinations 
you choose ( Australia and KEK ). So please make sure you send him the 
correct addresses.
                                 
I will be away from 22.12 until 2.1.
